Ich habe mein erstes Teil vom CJC 2012 fertig. Gestickt habe ich über einen Faden, auf 15er Leinen von Au Lin d'ACB.

Tag 8, Crazy January Challenge 2012.

Jetzt habe ich schon 8 Teile vom CJC 12, die fertig gestellt werden können. Ich warte aber bis zum Schluß und mache dann alles in einem Aufwasch. Meine Mietze ist um einiges kleiner als das Orginal, da ich wieder über einen Faden gestickt habe.

Now I have 8 days done for my CJC 12. But I will wait till they are all done, before I finish them. My cat is a bit smaller then the original, because I stitched over one again.

Tag 15, Crazy January Challenge 2012.

Letzter Tag!!! Das soll eigentlich mit Petit Point gestickt werden, aber bei mir schaut das unmöglich aus und deshalb sticke ich es mit Kreuzstich über einen Faden. Diese Motiv habe ich auch schonmal gestickt gehabt, aber über 2 Fäden und dann als Kissenbezug verarbeitet. ...habe ich auch an eine liebe Freundin verschenkt.
Last day!!! This motif is supposed to be stitch with petit point. I am not good at all doing that stitch and that's why I do cross stitch over one. I've stitched this motif over two once before already and made a pillow case for a finish. ...don't have it anymore, because I gave it away to another very sweet friend of mine.

Tag 5 und dieses Sommerband sind die einzigen Motive, die ich über 2 Fäden beim CJC sticken. Der Rest ist alles über einen Faden.
Day 5 and this summer-band are the only motivs that I stitch over two in the CJC. The rest is all done over one.

Tag 13, Crazy January Challenge 2012.

Dieses Tuch habe ich schon mal über 2 Fäden gestickt und einer lieben Freundin geschenkt. Jetzt sticke ich es über einen Faden auf 14er Leinen. Auf der Vorlage ist das Garn mit HF und Oehlenschlaeger angegeben und das wird vermutlich eine elendige Umrechnerei für mich.

I've stitched this pattern over 2 once before already and gave it to a very dear friend of mine. Now I'm stitching it over one on 36 count linen and also I have to convert the thread from HF and Oehlenschlaeger to DMC, something I hate doing, grrr.

Hier habe ich die Farben ein bißchen geändert. Ich wollte keine Blautöne haben und sticke deshalb alles mehr in zarten Rosa.
I've changed the colors a bit. I was not happy with the blue colors and so I changed it into pastel pink.

Das ist das letzte Motiv, das ich an einem Tag fertig sticken konnte. Die anderen sind alle zu groß und auch mit Urlaub sind sie nicht an einem Tag zu bewältigen.
That's the last motif that I will be able to finish in one day. All the other ones are just too big and even with being on leave, I will not be able to finish them in one day.

Das gestrige Motiv war schon schnell zu sticken, weil es meistens über 2 Fäden war, außer den drei Piepmätzen. Dieses ging noch schneller von der Nadel, weil es nur die paar Bäumchen, Sternchen und das Rentier waren.

The motif from yesterday was very quick to stitch because it was except the 3 little birdies, stitched over 2. This one was even quicker, because there are only the few little trees, stars and the reindeer.

Gestern hat das CJC 2012 (Crazy January Challenge 2012) angefangen. Ich habe fast den ganzen Plan überarbeitet und sticke hauptsächlich kleine, flotte Teile, damit ich dieses Jahr auch noch Zeit für andere Stickereien habe. Das ist "It's a Hoot", war sehr schnell zu sticken und dadurch konnte ich gestern auch schon mit Tag 2 anfangen.

Yesterday was the start for the CJC 2012 and I've exchanged lots of the projects with other patterns. I'm stitching mainly small, quick to stitch projects this year, because I want to have time for other projects this year also. Since "It's a Hoot" was done very fast, I was able to start with day 2 yesterday already.

Weihnachtsgeschenk von Sylvia.

Endlich kam ich mal bei Tageslicht heim und konnte ein Bild machen. Hier sind die Geschenke, die ich von Sylvia erhalten habe. Von vorne nach hinten: Projekttasche (ein Traum!!!) von Sylvia selbst genäht, ein Köfferchen (ich LIEBE es!) und dann noch ein Burt's Bees von Kopf bis Fuß, weil sie weiß, wie toll ich diese Produkte finde. Allerherzlichsten Dank meine Gute!!!

Finally I got home during day light and was able to take a picture. Here are the presents from Sylvia from front to back: project bag, sewn by her (a dream came through!), a little carrying case ( I love it!) and a Burt's Bees from head to toe, because she knows that I am very fond of those products. Thank you very much my dear!!!
